so many twists and turns. not particularly well written but its plot is a roller coaster. too much dog blood and drama in some parts. alot of times i wish she would just say the truth rather than cover it up. like in the smart a dead maid was in the well and she said nothing and she let herself be wronged. you know how the fl will normally always be with the ml no matter what they go through ? i wish this would diverge and she would just choose the simpler path of being with the guy who accompanied her in the 5 yr time skip. i didnt reach the end yet or know what happens but thats just what i wish. we get tons of step mother novels and i cant relate since i would never be with a guy with child, but chu li is good to the child so we should just have a step dad uncle.
So who's the male lead? Chu Qing or Chu Li?
You know if I were her, every time I encounter the rebirth girl I would just resort to violence knowing rebirth girl are coming to kill. Carry a thick stick everywhere. Li Zhou? Chu Li? Chu something? or everyone who engage with ancient palace brain trick? SMASH. I'm not the ori!host anyway. Or get out farming after pawning everything else in the bedroom, I got no brain for those palace scheme battle, lol.
lmao this is so much big brain energy. i swear novels would've been so much shorter if they took this route. or the FL would just get executed, but short novel either way
