I love this novel. There's a lot of things that the MC's did that made you fall inlov with them. I really love the male lead here. He's such a dream guy. There's not a lot of love rival for the female lead and there's no obstruction from both their families. Although the end is a bit abrupt,this is still good. I'll give it 4.5😆
This is missing a chapter between Chapters 217 & 219 (218 seems to be a repeat of chapter 217).
The "Historical" Genre tag is wrong. This is a pure fantasy story set in another world. There is Cultivation, Monsters/Magic Beasts, Spirit Beasts/Companions.
i like this but it is suffering from the typical CNovel 3 sexist tropes - 1) Rape as a Victory Condition - The villainesses and the female lead work to get the other raped; 2) ML is rude and obnoxious to any female not the female lead, but the female lead is "super duper special"; 3) The female lead can only have male friends, girls dislike her - the only time girls seem to likes her is when she is dressed as a man
This getting repetitive. FL moves to new place - bunch of girls are irrationally jealous of her and hate her on sight. A bunch of guys fall in love with her and she becomes friends with some of them. Girls come to a terrible end. FL moves to a new place and the process starts again
Again as is usual in Chinese ffantasy novels, 90% of the female characters are not just villains, but actually batshit insane
And we are about to kill off the third set of delusional female "villains" and the story is already setting up a fourth set. And none of these sets of girls are different from the previous set. The way Chinese authors seem to write females is straight up delusional as the characters themselves. Almost every female is irrationally jealous of the female lead, and delusional in love with and entitled to the ML.
