To be honest, I'm extremely disappointed with this story. All the things i liked so much about momo's other story, martial peak, are basically just afterthoughts in this story. The sense of adventure and discovery is almost nonexistent. The plot is so drawn out as to be pointless. This novel's entire focus is on killing and violence. Everything else is just filler between fight scenes. So, i started skipping whole chapters once fights start. That may sound like you'd miss a lot, but not really. When the fight scene for 13 emperor and mc on the vattle tower is TWELVE ENTIRE CHAPTERS, you start realizing how crappy this story is. I can only hope that it gets better after the ancient battlefield, but i have little expectation at this point. This is so disappointing from the author of martial peak, which is full of adventure and excitement and discovery. Momo can really paint a picture, but strongest martial god's picture is lacking all the elements that made martial peak so good.
