There's no salvation for Fang Mu in this story as he has been blackened when he wasn't even 10 yrs old. He can't love jiusheng even if he got her because his heart is already blackened and there's only little affection left which can't cover the darkness. All this is because he had worthless mom and dad.
"He staggered and stood up, fell on the sofa, put his hands between his hair, bowed his head and said nothing." After reading chapter 88 I can say that Fang Mu is really pitiful.He is not a male lead so he couldn't recognized his true lover just because plot needed it so he doesn't have deep love which can let you recognize her just from one breath. Poor soul, he just has a bad ending because he's destined to be a villain. I wish he could have his own story just like reincarnation rebirth or transmigration any thing and get a true love and become a male lead of his own story with a happy ending together someone who can love him truly. Though I don't blame Qiao yusheng either. She doesn't have any love left for him because she suffered her full life in captivity and nursing home. She remembers every pain and that the man she love couldn't differentiate between fake and real and lead a complete married life with the person who ruined her. If only he could doubt like he's doing now and found her then I am sure she would have chosen to go to him after accident instead of going to that doctor friend. But again she's destined with yunsheng. I think she's already in love with him or they have some history but because of some reason she forgot him and fall in love with Fang Mu and their fate lead them apart no matter what the situation is.
I want to say this first, reading reviews and comments only make you miss a good novel/book, it’s like judging a book by its cover. I wanna thank the author for creating this, for making me feel frustrated and sad at the same time. Today I decided to drop reading this not because it’s not good, the characters and story is too good that I feel frustrated for the death of a certain character, and yes that’s the sole reason why I’m gonna stop reading this. Every character in this story has their own shortcomings and faults but also has lots of good points. The story only encircled in the main characters so when starting reading this you might get overwhelmed by many names (family names at most) and they don’t add many characters as the story goes on which is a good thing, unlike the other stories that every dmn time there’s going to ruin the MC and ML. MCJiusheng is not OP, not your common genius overlord who knows to do every damn thing but is not that weak, she’s strong enough, especially after what happened to her. If you’re looking for an OP lord female, this is definitely not for you. As for me, there are only a few things that can make me say that she stands out. MLYusheng is not a domineering asshole who only knows how to be cold. He likes to bicker too (especially with MC at first but later became a dog) he’s a dmn thrifty, shameless, got a poisonous tongue, and likes giving gifts that only make the person receiving it fume out of rage. Jiuyin is your typical female villain but instead of me only hating her, I also pity her. Their family is good, she’s even closed with her twin sister Jiusheng but for a certain reason, everything changed (you might as well read it why). Fang Mu, I don’t know if I can categorize him as a male villain or cannon fodder. His background story hurts me the most. You can even say that he’s my favorite of them all instead of the MC and the ML. As I continue reading this, only his character makes me hooked. I wanna kill his mom, I wanna slap his dad and fucking torture a certain bastard who makes my Fang Mu twisted. I cried for Fang Mu, I want to shout “CAN SOMEONE SAVE HIM?” “ “PLEASE DON’T CRY” “PLEASE STOP, I’M HERE”. If I’m good at writing stories? I will definitely write a story for him, I will make him happy and safe but I can’t, and I’m sorry for that. I feel useless somehow and also feel crazy for feeling this. When he died, I want to run and kneel beside him, hug him and let him feel safe, that I can cry for him, that he doesn’t need her since I’m here. And that’s also the reason why I dropped reading this since there’s no more reason to continue.
I agree with you, I actually dropped it solely due to him dying that way. Caused a lot of pain to me and I just couldn't continue.
according to your comments, this is a Not Good novel because the FL is to weak and dumb. well I dont like FLs who are like that... it's better to read child protagonist than reading a dumb and weak FL.
She’s not stupid but she does start out weak, a lot of the ppl here are upset the FL is afraid of death and are more used to the basic assassin op FL archetype
id prefer the weak and dumb fl coz its more realistic than those 3 year old genius protagonist that can overturn a stockmarket or a whole business empire

OKAY MOVED ON THE FEMALE LEAD CAN STOP THE WEDDING AND FACE SLAPPED THE BITCHY SISTER BUT BECAUSE SHE IS TOO DUMB SHE CHANGED HER MIND FUCK!!! YOUR EX-BOYFRIEND NEEDS TO KNOW THE TRUTH!!! THE ML...WELL, I HAVE ONE OR TWO OPINIONS ABOUT HIM BUT LET'S FOCUS HERE WITH THIS WEAKLING FL WHO IS TOO DUMB IDIOTIC MC OK, STOPPPP SELLLLFFFF OKAY BYE!!
