Du jour au lendemain, Tangning est devenu un grand propriétaire d'esclaves dans le sud des États-Unis avec trois grandes plantations et des centaines d'esclaves noirs qui pouvaient être chassés à volonté.
Tangning était très satisfait du résultat d'un tel voyage dans le temps, mais il a ensuite découvert avec tristesse qu'il ne pouvait profiter que de trois ans d'une si belle vie, car trois ans plus tard serait la "guerre civile", que devrait-il faire après ça ?

This is more like slice of life + thriller. The story doesnot potray an ambitious MC, even after 13 years of transmigration, he still isnt the richest in new orleans. I thought after writing till civil war,he author want to add drama thriller to the story, and give a bit of detetive theme. But the MC is always the passive one and onthe receiving end of the stick.
Altho the plot and story is a bit... Questionable I can say for certain the author is relatively educated the racism certainly exist but in a more acceptable form altho the racial slurs is unpleasant but hey my guy is a confederate not to mention his other people slave owner also says that this novel won't be very racial friendly but it's still pretty readable if you can ignore the unpleasant content
