I liked the system/cheat, had potential. The translation is not horrible but gets annoying with the switching between phonics and actual English. From ch 1 to 150 it was quite enjoyable adventure into new lands, new buildings and new powers. From ch 150+ it turns into your typical Chinese shop keeper mode where MC really does nothing himself and thinks of nothing himself but rely on his subordinates. Then you put that with the change in speach of being a lord/king, all the perfunctory bullshit formalities of etiquette, and we all know it was done just to fill up the word count. Its like eating popcorn and someone put in packaging peanuts as a filler. I for one do not like plastic in my reading diet. Overall, the novel just feels hollow and not much substance. Dropped at ch 240
Kinda disapointing, the mtl is hard to read, the mc keeps being forced into situations by the rich kids in his class and just goes along with it, and the academy is trying to isolate them from the outside world by making their own currency, telling students to sell everything to them, and being suspicious every time the mc wants actual money instead of school credits.
I was in a bad mood when i read this before, now that i'm reading it later, it actually isn't half bad as long as you are able to understand the chinese techniques/items.
